Since 2018 I am a self-taught artist, living in Strängnäs.
I paint in oil, mainly landscape motifs with large elements of clouds. I am inspired a lot by the nature around me as well as the old masters in art. The art of the Renaissance, Romanticism and Impressionism are periods I always return to.

What I want to convey in my paintings is a simplicity in connection with the striking feeling of the beauty found in nature. With simple brushstrokes, subtle elements and thoughtful placement of colors, they create an atmosphere that I love.

I have a bachelor of philosophy in art science with a focus on Italian Renaissance art, aesthetics and Latin from before, which caught my interest in trying painting myself.
